There are lots of great deals on eBay. Usually everyone says it's a scam. I think the deals are worthy, and in your case you saved $800 when you calculate tax into the equation.

Congrats on your awesome find of a brand new MBP for less.
 
I wonder how these eBay resellers make any profit selling it at prices these low? I mean I don't even think Apple sells it to resellers for $1899. :confused:

only he sold out of the 15" 2.53, and I was debating the 17" and the 13", he hasn't emailed me back again so I suspect he sold them all.


Oh on the $100 off what was that like a 5% off coupon or something else? I did some googling, but I haven't personally bought off of ebay before

Iassume apple care is also available as well.

I am using it right now and loving it. However, I like the weight of my Air more.
 
WOW! that puppy's got a 3mhz CPU !

considering how he botched the details and did a sloppy cut and paste job, that low of a price + free shipping, I would have been real hesitant

it's a good deal, I've seen some for $2199 + a $200 rebate

I'm waiting for iMacs and matte MBP refreshes
 
Got one today at Best Buy for $1999.00. They matched the $200 dollar rebate from Apple( after they called the local Apple Store to confirm they were selling them for $2299), beat it by $100 because of their store policy and because I am a reward zone member, and gave me the $200 for student discount.

I got mine from this seller within days of paying. We may never know why things went south with this seller.
