App store updates problem

Last night I updated a couple apps to their latest version using the App Store on my iPhone. Now, the App Store is telling me there are new versions of those apps, except it's the previous version it's telling me to upgrade to. For example, I upgraded to Jaadu VNC 2.0 last night, now it's telling me there's an update out, latest version 1.3.1, and it's doing the same for other apps. I even tried removing the apps and reinstalling them to no avail. Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks
