ive read a few threads regarding the new apple alu keyboard
(from tearing it apart to whatever)

anyway i spilled something very sugary over my alu keyboard.
i had to wait 3 days before i could wash it :) so it was STICKY.

i put it in the dishwasher, 45 degrees celsius program, NO soap.
let the whole program go through.
i then put a thin cloth over it and went through all keys to suck out the remaining water and moist. i did that very thoroughly.

let it dry through the night on a radiator that was set on a "non bending" temperature.

plug it in on the morning.. well, im typing on it now. it works ;)

cheers

Do you mean the newest keyboard, the one without the number pads?

Whichever one, thats pretty amazing! Perhaps you got lucky?
Did it work after the spill?

no no, not numpads, **** i have to be more specific.
wired aluminum keyboard w/ numpad!

yeah it worked, and it was a heavy spill.. and it was..it was so sticky ASD keys didnt want to come back out by themselves.
but then i tossed it in the dishwasher and it aint sticky anymore. :)

so yeah, they made it good. the least they can do with a sealed keyboard is to make it dishwasher proof, i mean, damn, lots of people get clumzy from time to time. and they did it and im happy. great keyboard. :)
btw this was my first spill in my whole life. :)

LOL
