My MacBook Pro 13 inches just isn't performing as well as I liked. It works fine playing video games if I'm on 1200x800 but when i plug the poor thing into a 22in Dell monitor even at 1200 it runs like crap. Is there any reason to think the 6750 in the 15in model will do better? is anyone else doing the same thing?

The two don't even compare. THe 13in MBP is only intended to power external displays and play HD video. The 6750 is more for video work and and gaming. Its like comparing a Ford Focus to a Porsche.

EDIT: Crap, missed the fact that you were asking if there was a big bump in performance, instead of complaining of the performance.

I love my focus...but not for hauling around 5tons of World of Warcraft.

The 6750 is a beast but it does love to eat power. Plugged in no issues, I went from a 13 to 15 and am really happy with it, apart from the size this is infinitely better, the high res screen means I don't really use my external screen that much anyway, and the quad core is very fast.
