6770m or 650m best for CS6 Mercury playback

I'm finally ready to get a mac laptop. Can't decide between late 20ll 17" with 6770M or new 15" with 650M. Looking at it being somewhat of a desktop replacement - also wondering of 2011 17" has any lingering issues.

Biggest drawback I can think of is not having usb 3.0.
