Hi guys,

Can anyone let me know success stories they have had burning dual layer dvd's on the new MBP's. I am trying with AONE disc and none work, im presuming it's because they are cheap.

Anyone give me any brands that work?

Thanks

I have tried many brands; I have found Verbatim has never failed me once, so I buy their brand exclusively now.

Verbatim for sure.

I did extensive research when I needed some DL's a while back and found that Verbatim had the best reviews out there. So I bought like a 3-pack off amazon and they all worked great.

I will definitely have to try Verbatim. I recently got a 50-pack of DL's from Memorex, and roughly 35% of them failed. That being said, I called warranty and they sent even more than I needed in new ones right away, but still...

DL disks are very much so hit or miss :(

Verbatim

Bought some DL's from verbatim
Using toast 10 all good, but only get 2X record despite having a 3 week old MBP and 8X certified disks

But never had a verbatim fail on me yet!!!!

Memorex I woiuld never use again
Nor would I use randomly branded ones e.g. Tesco (awful)
