Hey, that's the same as my Macbook and with 4GB of RAM (a cheap upgrade) its an AWESOME machine. I'm very happy with mine - and would've been even more so at $699! :D (But I did get mine for $765, open box...)

$765 is still a good deal. I sold a year old 2.4 whitebook for $750 on craigslist, mind you with no warranty.

Awesome deal for people who are looking to switch but can't afford the $1,000+ it comes out to after tax.

It's better than going the ebay route that's for sure(can't believe what some auctions get).

However, a person would be better off spending an extra $150 for the 849.99 refurb:
extra gig of ram
MUCH better integrated graphics(nvidia vs. intel)
a little bigger hd
a superdrive(for those times YOU may need it)

then again, If someone who can't afford to spend much is going to go up that much in price. They might as well spend another $50 and buy the $899 unibody refurb with a better screen. But by doing that they would be pushing a G depending on what the tax rate is.

not if you want firewire

Wow, tempting!

But I just got a ThinkPad T40 for $175, and upgraded it to 802.11g wireless and 2 GB of RAM for an extra $90.

Should I sell it and grab this?

*Shoulder devil says hell yes, go for it!*

*Shoulder angel says no way, save the money!*

DO ITTTTTT.

I was almost thinking about getting one. but I have no need for it since I just sold a whitebook 2.4 with 4 gigs ram and I love my MBP and would not get use out of it.

But next rev of MacBook Air I'm getting one for sure.
