6gb iso to a DVD

Hi guys,

For a long time I have been burning iso images with disk utility. But now I have a 6gb iso image that doesn't allow me to burn in to a dvd. I tried both disk utility and toast and has been impossible.

Do any of you know a way of dealing with it. Either shrink it so that it can fit in a dvd or even split in two dvds.

Do you need the disk that you burn to be a "working" disk or are you just backing up the ISO images?

How are you burning your dvds then? If it's on a Mac, then you can burn dual layer discs.

Not all Macs come with DVD drives and there's a chance they bought an external drive that isn't dual layer. Not likely, but it might be.

Yes, but "On a Mac" (to many people) means burning it on a Mac but not necessarily with an internal drive.
