6s 10.1.1 lock screen glitch

I'm having an issue with the lock screen when I get a text from just one of my contacts. When I use 3D touch to open the text after I get a notification, the popup is glitched. It displays an old message from almost two weeks ago and a constant (...) that doesn't ever go away. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks.

Try restarting your phone. If that doesn't work, Hold the power button and home button at the same time until you see the apple logo. That deep resets the phone, That might work. Or back-up your phone and restore it then restore it to back up.
