Does anyone know why ATT has a diff phone from the other 3 big carriers??

does this have something to do with LTE-A

it has LTE band 30. The others lack that band, but work on CDMA. Really, it is probably going to hurt ATT resale value since it seems like it cannot be used with sprint/verizon.

what about those other foreign carriers does it mean it wont work with them either if we did a sim swap. but I guess if you use atts international plans youre ok. which are not that much more expensive for the convienence
