I have a 128 Gb iPhone 6S Plus with iOS 9.3.1 installed. Since syncing with iTunes on my Retina iMac last week, the Camera app on the iPhone no longer works correctly. The app itself does not appear to be fully installed on the iPhone anymore; all I see on my iPhone's screen is the springboard placeholder for the app and it says "Installing" underneath it. The app will not finish loading - it has been in this state for about 5 days.
I can actually delete and reinstall the app, believe it or not. I've tried doing so but it does not solve the problem.
How do I restore my camera app to working condition?
By the way, I did a lot of research and many who have had this problem pointed to the camera app being turned on in the "Restrictions" section of Settings. That is not the problem, in this case.
TIA for your help.
Regards,
Scott
