I set up my iPhone 6s Plus 128 GB (AT&T) phone on Friday. On Saturday I noticed that there were no 2.4 GHz networks listed under the WiFi Settings screen. Normally there are 4 including mine. Also the Instant Hotspot for my iPad Air 2 (T-Mobile) disappeared. The 5 GHz WiFi networks were still listed and mine still worked.

I rebooted the phone and everything worked again until today (Monday). Same problem 2.4 GHz Wifi networks missing and Instant Hotspot gone. I decided to test Bluetooth since that also uses 2.4 Ghz. Bluetooth wasn't working either. I couldn't connect to existing device or pair new ones. Also handover didn't work. Again rebooting the phone fixes the problem.

I contacted Apple phone support while this was happening and they said the diagnostic logs showed no problems. They had me reset all network settings, which I doubt would fix this since it seems like an issue with the 2.4 GHz radio simply shutting off and never powering back up. I was told if it happens again to do a restore.

I've been running iOS 9 on my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 5s for weeks and never saw this problem. It looks like either a software or hardware issue. Does anyone else have this problem with the new iPhone 6s (plus)?
