Bought a used iphone 6s plus and have been having a strange issue.

When I try to connect it to my PC, my computer doesn't recognize it at all. After some trial and error, I found out it connects fine with a 3rd party cable, but not the cable included in the box. I've tried with multiple OEM cables and none of them worked.

Any ideas on what could be causing this? I doubt it's the cables, since they all work fine with my iPhone X. I don't think it's the phone since a non-Apple cable works fine. They also work fine when charging using a brick.

*edit* now it doesn't even charge with a brick. The non-OEM cable works fine though.
*edit2* the motherboard was shot. I got sold a lemon. Lessen learned. At least I got something for trade-in with Apple.
