I just picked up my 6S yesterday, dropping down in size from the 6 Plus. I live in a rural area but average two bars of LTE in my house, sometimes dropping to three bars of 3G on Verizon. 1X is usually two to four bars when making a standard phone call. This was on the 6 Plus.

The 6S seems to have worse signal/reception overall. Generally hovering around one bar of LTE, frequently dropping to one or two bars of 3G, and only one bar of 1X when making a phone call. Everyone I've called on the 6S complains I'm breaking up and crackling, when I never had this issue on the Plus.

Defect or to be expected on the smaller phone? I don't recall reading anyone else complaining of worse signal on the smaller phone.

What are your signal numbers like ? Bars are not an accurate measure put it in field test mode
