Yes finally a retina MacBook Pro with the famed Steve Jobs Apple logo made shortly after his passing a year ago - apparently profit made will go to charity (hmmm always a bit dubious)... I wonder if anyone would pay £5k more for a fairly minor tweak- wonder if apple would still cover it under AppleCare?

EDIT - wrong link - http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/steve-jobs-tribute-macbook-77491800.htm

(Not sure if on fleabay- on eBid - a poor mans eBay)

Can you not post a link to eBay? I don't really want to expose my FaceBook profile to unknown links!

Now that is quite cool. Not sure if I could justify that price for it though

Not sure on quality - sounds like the cutting bits off the logo and tipexing it out!

I wonder what display manufacturer it is, it would suck to have common screen defects.

Lol at the wrong link, it had a reference in it so I'm pretty sure you just posted the that link on purpose.

Also most people don't like it when you post tinyurl's.

As for the Steve Jobs MB, it's just a custom job. It's not officially related to Apple. Not worth the money.

It's done in holland... Hopefully they won't of smoked much when lasering your really really really expensive laptop - £7,600 for a laptop!

It sold 1 - someone actually paid £7.5k for a laptop - a portable computer? Nuts!
