My 2gen 6Gb iPod Mini syncing worked perfectly, that is, until the latest iTunes update. Now instead of syncing only a few changed songs/podcasts, several hundred songs/audiobooks are redownloaded anew every time the iPod is connected, which takes time.
Worse yet, the syncing now seems only to go one way, from Mac to the iPod, meaning that bookmarks for audiobooks that I listen on the iPod are lost and I now have to manually scroll to the last point in the audiobook. Restoring the iPod did not help. This is really bad. Is anybody having the same issue?
I am on a 15'' Al PB, 10.3.9, syncing via firewire.
Thanks.
