Hey Guys,

I have noticed something strange, or either there is a setting I am not aware of yet.

If you look on Apple's website concerning iOS 7.1, it shows a picture of an incoming call with four options: a round red button for decline, a round green button for accept, and then above both of those, there are two options for remind me or message.

I don't have these options. When I get an incoming call, it just gives me a slide to answer option.

Anybody else?

You get those options if the device is unlocked and a call comes it. If it is at the lockscreen, you'll only ever get slide to answer.

Hmm... On lock screen I get the remind me and message options (and instead of decline and accept buttons I get a single slide to answer.)

Check in Settings > Passcode > Reply with message??

It still shows on mine.

I think that's for calls on the home screen and not for the incoming calls on a lock screen!! With previous versions these options were available from the lock screen.

I too get only slide to answer only option on the lock screen.

And if course while at the lock screen, you decline a call by pressing the sleep button once and twice to send directly to voicemail.

Since the option is under the Passcode section in settings it essentially means it applies to the lock screen.

I had this issue recently. I was on a call and heard the beeping for another incoming call. I looked at my phone, and it looked like the phone ringing from the lock screen with only the slide to answer option. I was just like, "I don't know what to do!" If I slide, does it hang up my current call or place it on hold?

Were you using a headset or speakerphone or anything like that?

Telling there's only pictures of it working... Any pictures of the buttons not showing???

Thanks. I think this is it. I tested it it with another phone and you are right.

No. You press the button once to silence the ringtone (you can still see the incoming call and can answer it) and twice to decline. Declining a call obviously sends it into voicemail if voicemail is enabled.

Screenshot of the reminder and message options not appearing on lock screen please.

I just thought, is this to do with whether they are a contact or not? Or landline or mobile?

I should have been a bit more detailed...those two were always there, but there was not a decline or accept option as on Apple's website, just slide to unlock.

As the other poster correctly said, the only time you get decline or accept is when the phone is already unlocked.

Right ok... Been like since before 7.0...

Oh, this is all about decline and accept buttons? If so, then, yeah, they only appear when the phone is unlocked, and that's pretty much always been the case (short of iOS 6 also offering a slide up option where decline would appear on the lock screen, but that was only in that one iOS version).

Seems like most of the thread kind of went down a different path about other options on the screen, which are unrelated to that.
