On M-Audio's Consumer Audio Division web site there is a preview of a new PCI sound card that supports 7.1 sound called the Revolution. This would be awsome if they relesed this card for Mac OS X. Many of M-Audio's other devices are OS X compatible.

And yep it does have OSX support, see this page.

I also like that they're coming out with a USB version as well.

This card has recieved the "Bitchin' Out Of It's Mind Cause It's Ape S¥¥t" award and the "Ape to the fifth dimension" award by His Conservativeness, Cook.
 
insidemacgames.com said they will be reviewing it. Im ordering one today.

Apparently it is being launched today at comdex but I can't find any info.
