7-10 day when ordering but e mail says October 8-11!!

From the information you posted, you bought something from somewhere and there are days involved so most likely in the history of ordering things someone has had the same experience.

7-10 BUSINESS days would mean shipping as late as October 4th or so. 5 days once it's shipped to deliver would then push it into that range.
