7 Days to Die

Anyone else playing this Steam Early Access game? I haven't seen it mentioned on the forums yet.

I'm absolutely loving it, great combination of survival, crafting, large voxel world and Zombies!

The developers are very active (a patch on Xmas eve, enough said) and Mac/Linux support is good. Co-op multiplayer is a blast (though they lack a Mac dedicated server, you can run a normal server on a Mac)

There is an active community of people posting youtube videos with play throughs, my favourite being Games4kickz https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpUd5vf6lvW9XeJkTTR8UGw and don't miss the hilarious play through by the Let's Play crew

Although that is of a much earlier alpha version. The game has changed quiet a lot since then.

If you ever wanted to be dropped straight into an episode of the Walking dead, this is pretty damn close.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more interest in this game, I think they are building a real masterpiece here.

Anyway here is a very fun example of Rongo The Bold, who built what appeared to be an insanely impregnable base, taking on a massive day 77th horde (you get a crazy horde of zombies coming after you every 7 days, thus the name of the game and its castle defence component, added to the crafting, FPS and survival aspects)
