I had trouble searching through the endless amount of threads and just decided to ask for help.
(to start with)
I want Windows 7 on my early 2009 iMac. I currently have XP on the partition. It's time to update.
Do I have to restore the HD to remove XP? (and is this how I do it?)
Now, can I install 7 x64 on my iMac?
The apple support page did not list my iMac for 64-bit compatibility (unless I missed it).
I really want to be able to take advantage of all 8 GB of ram and I don't think I can do that with 7 x86.
I hope that makes sense. Any help would be appreciated.
