my husband went from 6s+ to 7+ and says there's a huge difference in battery life (for the better)!
It's excellent. I have been using Google Maps on this thing all day as I am on vacations and this thing still has 10-20 percent of juice at the end of the day. This includes constant bluetooth connection with Apple Watch and listening to music via wireless headphones. Not to mention taking tons of pictures and video.

For medium use it's the same as my iPhone 6S Plus. Under heavy usage it's about 10% to 15% shorter life than my 6S+ which isn't bad all things considered.

Better than my 6s plus without question. Off charge at 6am this week for work and by 10.00-11.00pm I still have a good 15-20% left and on my days off I bet I could get two days usage out of it where I will use my ipad pro more often.

It's been great for me, I can get 2 full days out of mine. But I did have to tweak some settings. I turned off a few things in Settings->Cellular->Use Cellular Data For and then also turned off a few things in Settings->General->Background App Refresh. It made a world of difference.
