7 plus preorder question

If I order a 7 plus off apple.com can I cancel the order if I find it somewhere else as long as it hasn't shipped yet? If yes it is easy to cancel?
 
I believe you can cancel it as long as it has not entered the "Preparing for Shipment" stage. If it is processing, you can cancel it.
