7 vs 9 call sound / speaker

If i would ever upgrade from my trusty series 7 would be if Apple would also make it sound louder while on a call.

So is the sound quality while on call more crisp and loud or it’s still the same ? I am talking about answering the iPhone call not directly thought Apple Watch ?

Are the speakers / microphones improved ? Or it’s just the same hardware with only a new chip ?

I don’t think there are any improvements for the speakers or microphones. The last improvement was in Series 4 with its 50 percent louder speakers.

I have the 7 series. Plus I got the ultra 2, which was sent back and I found absolutely no difference in the sound quality of both of these. Which is one reason why I sent back the ultra 2

I briefly owned ultra 1 and send it back and kept using series 7. Personally i also don’t find a single reason to own an ultra except the aesthetics over normal Apple Watch
