Hi Folks,
I just got a 700 MHz G4 eMac on ebay. It came with OSX 10.3 (Tiger) installed but doesnt have Classic (OS9.x) on it. I do have a number of classic applications that I would love to be able to run on it. What are my options?
My goal is to be able to have a OS 10.3 or 10.4 machine, and have classic support or be able to boot into some OS 9.x flavor. What options do I have? I read somewhere that I can buy a System Restore CD for eMac on ebay that would have OS9 and OSX but the problem is that the OSX would be probably 10.2, and I hate to go back to 10.2. Any advice?
Another goal is not to spend too much money on this ;)
thanks,

Christian

If you want classic support, then 10.4 is the farthest you can go. Look on ebay, there might be some good deals.

so if I go with 10.4, how would I also install OS9.x ?

Would I need to start with the eMac software restore, and install that, and then later install OSX 10.4? What is the correct order? Or does that matter?
