I finally was able to get my 7100/66 going last week. After several unsucessful attempts at an OS install, I bought a couple of SCSI drives on Ebay. I put one in, and the computer almost immediately booted up to an OS 8.1 desktop.

In any case, though, I noticed when I opened it up to change the hard drive that the internal speaker was disconnected. I can't seem to find any obvious place where it should plug in.

Can anyone point me to where on the logic board(I assume) the logic board should connect?

Should be next to it.

Found it! Thanks.

I don't know how I managed to overlook it, as they were even considerate enough to label the connection "Speaker"on the logic board.

In any case, it's working now.
