That first link is incredible. I saved the movie and will practice later tonight! :D

Did you TRY these methods? Do they actually work for mere mortals, or only for shirt-folding professionals?

Works like a charm! Only took about 3 practice tries before I had the move perfected.

Is this one of those things they teach you on your first day at the Gap?

My wife always makes fun of how I fold shirts. I'm going to have to go practice…

My preferred method is to drape :D

I coudln't view the first one for some reason. The second one I saw LOL...

I got the first method to work. I see my problem - I wasn't picking up the shirt in the right place. I thought the line she shows was at an angle but it's actually straight.

The only trouble with this method compared to the standard face-down, sleeve-over, sleeve-over, bottom-up, flip-over method is that you end up with one sleeve behind the folded shirt rather than tucked inside. But the time-saving tip is appreciated nevertheless. :)

Oddly, the method shown in the second video is actually slower than the old standard method! ;)

With a few quick hand movements a shirt is perfectly folded. But see if you can get this link to work: LINK.

That is awesome! Thanks :D

PS My husband just did it *almost* perfectly on the first try

My initial problem was grabbing the t-shirt too close to the sleeve seam, causing the neck to end up off-center.

And remember: When you finish folding, you need to pick the shirt up from the top (shoulders) not the bottom, or it will unfold very quickly.

Can someone tell me how I can save this movie. I don't know how to save .mpgs in websites.

I view the movies in QuickTime. The only way that I know of saving them is if you pay the $29.95 QuickTime Pro fee. Then when you click on the last icon at the bottom then you are given the option to download a movie to the desktop.

My mother taught me the technique that you mentioned Doctor Q. I think it looks pretty nice. Will need to practice on the new method. ;)

I thought there was a nifty way of saving quicktime movies in safari...

I could definitely be wrong though.

But, yeah, that is awesome. I thinnk I'll take off my tshirt and try it. :)

yeah, QT Pro is the only way to save them, but why do that when you can just download them! :D

in Safari, open Activity (Cmd+Opt+A) then click the arrow for the site so it rolls down the menu and you can see the individual items. then just Option+Click (might be double click) on whatever you want to download. :D

you've got to be fast with that second link, because it re-directs, but it's all good!! :D

i'm going to have to try that method as well...

Actually, this tip didn't work for me. I tried option-clicking the file in the activity window....did nothing. Tried double clicking...reloaded the movie. Tried control clicking...again, nothing.

Can someone help me out here?

Maybe you could just save the link, instead of downloading it...it probably won't disappear anytime soon although I can't be 100% sure of that.
