I have: 1GHz G4 iMac, 15GB 3G iPod, OS 10.3.3.
I had a palm. An old Palm V. I synced it through iSync, and everything went swimmingly.
When I got the iPod, I ditched the palm, and set up iSync. It worked initially, but then stopped updating any of the info in my Address Book. Annoying. So I tinkered and twiddled, removed and added the device, reinstalled iSync. Nothing.
Then, on advice, I reset my iPod, copied all the music on again, and synced. Nothing.
No, something. Somehow, all my calendar information had been deleted from my iCal. I don't know how it happened, but it happened when I reset the iPod. Somehow, it took the data from the empty iPod (nothing), and put that on the computer with everything. Understand my frustration. The Restore to Last Sync didn't work because I synced again, and didn't notice for a while because I was looking at the Contacts.
So... in conclusion. Is there a good way to restore these files? I don't even know what I'm meant to be doing.
I think it might be my birthday...
