I placed an order for a Macbook Pro 13" yesterday afternoon. I have been called 3 TIMES to verify the billing address in the last 15 hours!!!! The CC billing/shipping address match on my account. WTF is up with this company? Plus, their website says that it is in stock (as well as pbcentral) but I have been told it is backordered until the 19th. A little availability bait & switch if you ask me. With the rebate I will save $115 over ordering direct from Apple, which is considerable, but damn...:mad:

There are numerous threads on MacMall's service.

I have had nothing but good experiences, but the whole CC checking thing is a little ridiculous, but I guess that it's better safe then sorry?
 
I've dealt with MacMall a lot over the years with no real problems. The credit thing could be due to the fact that they now use BillMeLater as the underwriter.
 
To Macmall/Clubmacs credit, I have received a UPS tracking #. Not active yet, but perhaps later tonight. Rant off- carry on...
