Paltrow gives birth to baby Apple

9 lbs - 11 oz.! That's a big baby!!!

But I'd love to know where the name Apple came from.....

What about peach, or banana, or blueberry? There are so many other fruits..... :p

A long labor is normal for a first pregnancy. A 9lbs 11oz even more so because she has such a small frame. She has definitely picked a unique name for a child, Apple. :cool:
 
If you have a chance to check out baby Apple's grandma, Blythe Danner (Gwyneth Paltrow's mom) in the movie/play "1776", do so.

She was so beautiful she glowed.
 
Whoa, lapse of judgement there. Such a bad name for a girl. Seriously. Even Peach would have been better. I know someone named Poppy, which I think is fairly cute, but Apple? Its not even a cute name.

Chris Martin = *****whipped. Must not have had much say in all of this, or he's a bigger nutter than we all thought. His next song better not be "You are the Apple of my eye" or something like that.
