"We got a tip from one of our most-trusty ninjas earlier this morning about this, but we’ve now also got a screenshot from someone else, too. To make a long story short, if you did not pre-order an iPhone 3G S from AT&T yet, (we’re not talking about Apple because we don’t have information on their pre-ordering/stock levels, etc) your iPhone 3G S won’t be shipping to you/your store until “7-14 days” after the order date. It seems that all AT&T’s pre-order stock is depleted leaving only iPhone 3G Ss for dying-in-line purchasing on this coming Friday, and all pre-orders going forward won’t be fulfilled until after the June 19th launch date."

I ordered my iPhone off Apple today and it still says i will get it on the 19th.

This is just for AT&T.

Just go order from Best Buy. I went today and was still the first to Pre-order!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if the area where I pre-ordered is going to be a little sketchy because in the same shopping complex, there is an AT&T store and a Best Buy. I can see people running back and forth trying to find an iPhone. Good thing I was the first to pre-order at the AT&T store in the complex. Bad thing is I can't get down there til 8-9 am....

I am honestly shocked that the pre-orders have sold out.. I thought when they announced the iPhone 3G s that there would be plenty of stock to go around! I guess i will never under estimate the apple following!

So Apple will still have a bunch of phones for people waiting in line on the 19th right?

you can but your not guaranteed a phone... so you could be screwed over

But were you ever "guaranteed" and iPhone waiting in line at Apple the last 2 years? Every time I was told to just wait in line and hope when Apple really had enough stock for the whole day

True.... but last year here Apple came out and told like 30 people towards the end of the line that they might not get iphones because the amount of people in front of them out did the phones in stock

That didn't happen at my store last year and besides I plan on being like number 10 in line:D

i ordered from apple today too. Last year ATT gave me the run around for about two weeks, it was very nerve racking.

number 10... why not number 1

Im not that much of a morning person lol plus the people that showed up at my store last year camped out all night, I'll show up at like 5am like last year and should be 10-15th in line

Looks like sold out both online and in store. At least it makes me more confident in getting one on the 19th since I ordered Tuesday. If they didn't cut it off their 19th promise, I'd be expecting FUBAR.

Come on!
This is just their marketing strategy, so makes many between line people (Still thinking rather or not to get one) more eager to pre-order one now.
