i was thinking of replacing the stock 250GB HDD in the MBP with a 7200RPM 320GB one but i have a question.

Will the 7200 raise temperatures by a lot? i know the 7200 spins faster so it makes more heat and a little more noise. I can deal with the noise, and vibrations, but the heat is something that worries me since the macbook already gets hot as hell as it is. so what temp increases can i expect if i do go the 7200 way

No vibration or noise at all. I don't know about the 320GB, but my 200GB 7200 uses less power and generates less heat than the 250GB 5400 drive. And according to benchmarks, the 320GB is screamin' fast!
