I know the iPhone 3GS can record and playback 720p video.
But how can I enable 720p playback on my 3GS?
It's jailbroken with 4.1 iOS.

I wanted to be able put 720p m4v/mov files on my 3gs through iTunes.

The screen's resolution makes true 720p playback literally impossible. Zune HD can "play" 720p as well, but......

Why not convert it to a resolution that makes sense and uses less memory?

Ive already done the video recording hack. I wasn't sure if it enabled 720p playback too but I guess it does.

Will this let me put my 720p m4v files on my phone thru iTunes?

The reason I don't want to make an iPhone version of my movies is bc I just want a 720p version of my movies for appletv and iPhone. Just one version of my movies, not 2. I have plenty of room on my 32gb 3GS.

Plus with tvout2 I can play the 720p movies on a tv with component cables.
