Hi,

I was wondering what software would be good for designing floor plans... I need to put in exact details like the length of each wall. Please advise, I am willing to look into both free and non-free software.

Thanks,

Will

I don't know of any free software, but here are some paid ones. Each have "regular" & pro versions

Punch! Software - I find it very "Windows-like", but it does do interiors & exteriors

Live Interior by Belight Software. Although it isn't designed for exteriors, I have created some simple exteriors to use with the video walk-throughs you can create.

Microspot has Interiors (I'm still trying out the Pro version & will probably get the non-pro one) as well as MacDraft for 2D.

Thanks for your help... my internet crashed for a few days, but now I'm back... is Concept Draw Office a good program?
