3GS Actual Battery Usage (Statistics and Stress Test)

So I decided to put my 3GS through a battery stress test. I'm going to repeat the same process tomorrow to see if there is any actual improvement as the battery gets broken in.

I started my test yesterday at 3:41 w/ my battery at 71%. It been on standby for the better part of 2 days at that point. I didn't really use it all that much.

I made these measurements using a "Rachel Maddow Show Podcast video. When it says 3G call, I needed to take a call. That lasted about 20 or so minutes. After that ended, I put the video back on.

Tomorrow I'm going to put it through one more stress test.

In my own usage since I bought the 3GS Tuesday I got roughly 4 hours of usage (consisting of a few calls, texts, fiddling with AIM and the compass, some light non-3D gaming) and a little less and a day and half standby with Wi-Fi, 3G, Push (MobileMe email and notifications for AIM), and Location Services on; brightness around 50% with auto turned off; auto-lock display after 1 minute.

Right now I'm at 1 hour 55 min usage and 15 hours, 1 minute standby with 59% remaining. With my original and my 3G I'd charge them every night, although I didn't really need to. For me, charging every other day is fine.
