iPhone 3G/3GS Speed Test

Go to www.speedtest.net from your iPhone and download the free speed test app. Do the test over a 3G network and post a screen shot of the results. Also, post whether it is an iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS.

Wow must be nice to have that speed. I can't upload the pic since I'm on my phone. I will do it later when I get home. Here are my results


Down: .51 Mbps
Up: .08 Mbps

3gs 16GB

ok here are my results on 3G which we just got in my town today !!!!!!!


1.48 down
.19 up

then 1.31 down
.25 up

and on my Wifi i get

.70 down

oh and i am on 3GS

.13 up


how the hell is 3G faster than my wifi ?

OP, how are you getting that fast on Rogers? I am getting an average of about 2.5 Mb/s.

Did the test just now, got 2.02 Down, .09 Up.

I usually get the same results as you. I guess I just got lucky when i did the test.
