Hi,
My 3 year old boy knocked a glass of water that my wife had next to my MBP and some of it fell on my MBP keyboard.
The incident happened 2 nights ago but my wife just told me last night. I went to check my Mac and a few keys, (tabs, caps lock, shift, crt, alt, cmd, A, Z) are not working.
Obviosly I was very upset. I have been searching in ebay for a new keyboard and I might just have to order one, but is there a way to repair the keyboard?
I beleive that the MPB was on when the accident happened, and I assume my wife only wiped the surface of the keyboard. Last night when I checked the keyboard it seemed to be dry (I even took one key off and it seemed fine).
Poor MPB, It is 2 and a half years old and has gone thru a lot. An apple firmware update bricked my superdrive, the right fan is making a lot of noise (already ordered one), its original battery died, and the second one is not doing much better.
