I have a mac book pro that I bought late last august. About two days after I got it, I dropped a bottle of cologne on it, and dented one of the keys... If I buy apple care, and later on, something goes wrong, and I decide to take it in, will they use this as an excuse to get out of repairing it? I read on here about a guy who had couldn't get his laptop repaired because of a small dent on his speaker grill. Will I be better off not buying apple care? I don't want to spend almost $300 and they wont even repair it.

Also, if I should still buy it, are there any other retailers that I can get legit apple care, cheaper than the $262 I can get it for on Amazon?

Thanks a ton

Most likely.

LA computer sells it for about 250 I think, but I don't know if that includes shipping or not.
