The good news is that it fits my 15" MBP perfectly. Snug, but not too snug that I worry about scratching due to a tight zipper etc. Feels and looks great and the polyurethane memory foam is spongey but HARD spongey. I am confident this will protect my MBP from scratches and bumps/short falls.

The bad news is that I thought it would fit in the Incase 17" nylon backpack but it is too damn tight. Without the sleeve the computer feels a little too loose for my comfort level. That said, I AM going through that OCD stage with it being new.

Options are as follows:

1) Use the sleeve when I don't have to carry much else. This is a viable option with such long battery life and a zipper for small stuff

2) Use the backpack when I have to carry books, ext HD, camera, etc. This whole setup was bought for school and the days will be much greater where I will need to carry the backpack

3) Return the backpack and look for another kind that will fit 15" MBP while inside ZS-111.

Am really looking for suggestions as far as backpacks that have dedicated laptop protection and will fit 17" laptop loosely or 18", if they make such things.

Return that hyped up backpack and get something better.

..uh isnt that pretty hyped up too?

wait by hyped, do you guys mean something that hipsters would wear?
Uhh...are they?

I own one myself and it really is a wonderful bag. It's large enough to take gym clothes, food for the day, my laptop. It's great.

Others in the lab I work in own Timbuk2 bags. Then again, you need to like messenger style bags.

its a great bag nontheless
im just playing around.. nothing to be takin seriously

I am in total agreement after thinking about it.....but what do I buy that will hold the computer and all my stuff for school? THAT is the question.

Appreciate the feedback, thanks. :)

I have an Uphill Alpine and it's really good quality. Something to check out: http://www.uphill.com/product.php?p...er+bags&subcategory=laptop+computer+backpacks

The zippers are heavy duty, it has a good sized laptop compartment, and it holds a lot of stuff. They have the size of the laptop compartment on there.

I just got the zeroshock III today.

All I gotta say is its effing awesome!

The outer frame is nice and rigid and the padding is quite nice. I was using the applesac before, and while I like the look of the applesac better, it does not compete in terms of protection against the zeroshock III.

I highly recommend it!

Obviously the messengers are their signature product, everything else seems pretty lame to me.

I've had two bags, a Metropolis (Largest one they offer now, since the Kremlin is discontinued, it was ridiculously large) and a mini-metro, the smallest.

The mini-metro just accommodates my 13" MBP in an incase sleeve, so I think you'd need the next largest for the 15".

Amazing, indestructable bags, I'll never get anything else.

Cant go wrong with a Wenger Bag. They sell those in the apple store. I use one and its great. Had it a year, no problems yet.
