750mb audio left after i deleted all music?

in 'about this mac' it shows i have 750mb of audio left after i deleted 3gb of music, how do i free up this space since mac doesn't have defrag?

Use spotlight and type in .mp3 and go to show all results.
 
Well your music folder is not the only location of audio files on your computer. If you play games or use other interactive programs, these audio files have to be stored somewhere (they may not necessarily be .mp3 format either)

You mentioned defragmenting ... Can you share your end goal with us? Something tells me there's an easier way than deleting all your music.

I wanted to free up space on my hdd, I put mp3 in spotlight and nothing showed up.. the only audio files i can think of are from iMovie and garageband.

try .m4p too. Yeah, there's probably some built in sounds for iMovie and garageband.
 
on a side note...defrag never deleted files for me, it defragmented the the HDD.

I would type common audio formats into spotlight: .mp3, .aac, aiff etc.
