13" 2.26ghz MBP with Intel X25-M 160gb benchmarks

Bought the 2.26 a week ago, and installed the x25-m and 4GB of Crucial ram.

Here are the results:-

Installed Win 7 RC 64-bit with bootcamp and VMWare Fusion 2. Scored a 5.2 for the windows experience index.

I've tried to find benchmarks for similar specs like mine over here, but couldn't find much. IYHO, do you think the results are satisfactory?

The only benchmark I think that already looks good is the Windows one (don't know how scores are based on the other ones).

Considering 5.9 is the top for most things (except your HDD, but it's an SSD so go figure why index score is so high:p). I'm amazed, I think 5.2 is also really good in terms of gaming graphics. :)

P.S.: Are you experiencing any problems with Crucial RAM? A store owner told me that "cheap ram means your macbook will suffer or not even turn on, you should get the 100$ per 2gb ram sticks", seeing stuff like everyone use 4GB ram doesn't seem like you have problems or bad scores :p.
 
I've dealt with Crucial before and my past experiences with them are no-fuss. Their rams came highly recommended as beside Hynax, Samsung and Micron, it is one of the official suppliers for Apple in ram. Easy shopping and zero problems using their rams in my macs so far, which is why I decided to get them eventually.

Before I decided to buy my rams, I was looking around at OWC's own branded rams. However, further comparison between the two's specs I finally decided to get the Crucial's.

As for the Windows benchmark, I did run an initial benchmark on the stock 5400rpm hdd, and it only came back with an overal 4.4:rolleyes: So the only varying spec is the SSD, which not only boosted the overall index score, it also up the gaming graphics index from a 4.4 to a 5.2.

Bootup time improved from an intital 48.5sec to 18.21sec from the gong to desktop. Shutdown time improved from 6.57sec to 2.78sec. Paid $610 for it and overall impression is pretty good, so I think it's well worth the money. The only disappointment is the fact a week after I bought this, Intel came out with the Gen 2. :rolleyes: lol, oh well. :D

I don't have access to 64-bit Geenbench, but the 32-bit scores are low on yours!!

My Macbook Pro mid 2007 model (2.2GHz) and I also get 3050 with the 32-bit bench.
Your's should score higher because u have a SSD and i only have a 5400rpm 320GB HD, I do have 4GB with Crucial RAM too.
 
On my stock new mbp 13" 2.26 i added crucial 4gb ram.
My geek score went from 3141 to 3152 approx. That was about it. Mind you, that was the score when i restarted and then ran geek bench.
So it fluctuates a bit.
so far the ram seems fine and programs open quicker
