Problems with Flash Player/Javascript on iPhone3gs

Hi guys, sorry for being a complete noob in regards to the iphone 3gs.. just got one yesterday and am extremely pleased with it. The only hangup is whenever I try to play any flash videos on the iphone (ex. ted.com), i'm unable to do so. i was wondering if there is anyway to bypass this problem or if this is something I'm going to have to live with? Btw, i did use the search function to find any related threads and couldnt find any.. i might be a complete noob at using that function as well 😕. Thanks for all the help!

There's no flash for the iPhone and we don't know if there ever will be. They've been working on developing one, but it's all still up in the air. Here's just one article about it:

That was an older link, there are more recent ones. They also have threads on here about it. I've read them, but probably just search in the iPhone forum and use keywords flash and iPhone should get you some hits.
