Only if it has the exact dimensions of Apple's trays, and even then I would say, no, it won't work.

It will NOT work to mount it on a sled so that the connector on the drive lines up with the connector on the backplane.

I explained that. The connector won't line up. Most brackets such as the one you linked to simply allow you to install a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" bay... they don't care about connector orientation or alignment.

The brackets are for cases where the power and data cable are separately inserted to the back of the drive. The four Mac Pro sled mounted drives are designed to use fixed positioned data and power connectors and require the receiving drive connectors in exactly one specified position. The brackets are not designed to position the connectors to line up in that position.
