SL - still no Apple Mail notification sound with IMAP in IDLE mode

Sadly....Apple didn't decide to fix Apple Mail's notification sound when using an IMAP account with IDLE.

If I turn off IDLE and go back to having mail check for messages, it works fine.

Sad C'mon Apple....even Microsoft can get it right in Entourage!

I just noticed this today. One of those things that is just unbelievable.

Thanks for the link. With no new mail sound and growl mail not functioning under Snow Leopard yet, I feel lost.
