I need buy a mini factory unlocked, $730 + $50 taxes is the price on the apple store.

that's the best price to buy it? any other online store sell it, factory unlocked? I can't get it for lower price?

note: it seems apple call it now "Connect on your own later" to the factory unlocked thing.

thanks.

You won’t find it unlocked new elsewhere for less without it being a scam.

thank you.

to be sure, the "Connect on your own later" option, means "Factory Unlocked" right?

I'll buy the phone direct from the Apple US store, as "Connect on your own later" expecting that is "Factory Unlocked" to use it in my country (not USA) with my local carrier.

My country is listed here:

the mini https://www.apple.com/iphone/cellular/
  • Model A2628
so I don't see the problem, so Connect on your own later seems the option to F. Unlocked.

“Connect on Your Own Later” is the new confusing phrase Apple now uses for factory unlocked iPhones.

exactly, very confusing at first sight, it seems they don't like the idea of be direct about sell unlocked phones, but anyway, thank you, I'll go to buy that thing direct on the Apple Store, I need retire my 5s.

That extra $30 charge for buying an unlocked phone, that’s not a pro model, is a BS move by Apple.

yes a total scam!

at the end the price is not $699 for the thing, is $780, almost $800 for a damn phone, I hope that thing works for some years like my 5S, I hate change the phone on every new version (consumerism... save the planet... a little bit).

I looked into the $699 13 Mini model with Verizon but they required a credit check and then were going to charge a $35 activation fee. So it actually turned out to be cheaper at $729 without the activation fee, and didn’t waste my time with a needless credit check.

sounds a little confusing for me, I'm not in USA, so I'll go factory unlocked, thanks.
