My 7800 GS makes my computer take a long time to boot.

OK, so I searched the net and for now all I've found is "remove AppleHWSensor.kext".

It works.

Is there another way to do this? I think its a good thing to know the temp of my card.

Thanks.

Same situation with my 6200 under 10.5.

Your choice is that you either tolerate the long boot times to get the temp from the GPU or you delete that kext file. I have been dealing with this since 09 when I bought my 6200.

There is no possible way to make it boot faster and get the GPU temps. If you choose to delete the kext file I recommend you copy it to a safe place first if you want to see temps again one day.
