They'll probably get the AGP version working as well, but at the moment the rom hasn't been finalized for either version; it is not yet available for download. This will be very good news for all those owners of PCI-E PowerMacs that want a better video card than the stock GeForce 6600, especially since the Mac 7800GT is not available a la carte as far as I know.
The downside is that this hack (and probably all future video card hacks) will require that the stock rom chip be desoldered and replaced with a new one that is 128k (the original ones are 64k, as are all PC cards' roms). This will probably scare away a lot of people, as it's a delicate job.
