Hi,

I just installed a clean install of Leopard Server on my mac mini, I was hoping to use migration assistant to bring over some old files and settings from a disk image I created of my Tiger install.

However migration assistant is not in the utilites folder, so I tried pascifist on the the install disks and it is nowhere to be found.

Am I missing something, does migration assistant not come with Leopard server. Any suggestions appreciated,

thanks

Peter

A typical migration from server to server is to archive Open Directory. There is no Migration Assistant for OS X Server.

Sorry to dig this thread up, but is this really true? I'm planning to move a regular OS X account to an OS server machine. Without Migration assistant this is going to be tedious...
