AVRCP for stereo bluetooth in 3.1

Does OS 3.1 allow skiping tracks with stereo bluetooth? Only pause/play worked on 3.0
 
Still only pause/play and volume controls with my Motorola S9s. However, voice control now works with the call button on the S9s, as promised.
 
I have the same headset. Glad to know I can do voice contol without the home button. No skipping is LAME. They need to fix that. It really need to fix that. It kills my plans for buying a Bluetooth kit for my motorcycle helmet.
 
Yeah, I just tried with my bluetooth Nokia BH-504 headphones and nothing... Not working. Sucks!
 
That's bad news. AVRCP was all I was looking forward. I guess I will have to go with option B, 30,000 ring tones lol
 
How is your call quality with the S9-HD since upgrading to 3.1? I am finding mine awful. I hear the person fine, but they can hardly hear me.
 
I have made a few calls with it today and nobody has said anything. But honestly phone calls have never been it's best feature.

I had the Altec Lansing backbeat before the Moto S9 HD and it had better calls. But the music is noticeably better on the S9 HD. If someone were in the market to pick up a stereo bluetooth headset I would have a hard time telling them which one to pick. I liked them both but I am sticking with the Moto for now.

APPLE PLEASE TURN ON AVRCP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really want to use a bluetooth kit on my motorcycle helmet but its almost useless without AVRCP.

I think the MOTOROKR S9 volume control actually controls the volume of the headphones and not the volume on the phone. I use some bluetooth stereo earphones (Sony HBH-IS800) and can't use them with my iPhone because the software can't control the volume.

Can anyone confirm if the iPhone itself can control volume now with headphones like the Sony HBH-IS800?
