11 inch MBA, 64gb for $797.99

Sold as used by amazon warehouse deal... So not a reseller.
Condition is "like new". Pretty much buying an open item product. Is it a good deal?

I am waiting for the 11" to get around 700 before I will pull the trigger. I agree that worth is subjective, so let me ask you OP is it worth it?

It is about $50-60 dollars less than you would pay if you went through the refurb store, so it that sense it's a good deal.

The only question now is would it suit your needs?

"$798 for base MBA worth it?"

Important questions:
Can you live with the 11" screen?
Are you SURE that you won't be dissatisfied with its size limitations?

Well I've been wanting one for a while. I always felt like 799 was a good and fair price for a MBA. As far as "need" not really a need. More a want. I currently have a 15 inch MBP and an iPad... I find the MBP a little too big and bulky as my portable and my iPad more of an entertainment device than a computer. Although I am using a Bluetooth keyboard and typing on it right now. I will probably get rid of my MBP for the MBA. I have an iMac as my "main" computer.

You all think it'll drop even further? 700 would be a better price... also was debating waiting for the SnB MBA that may or may not come out in the fall.

But as for a need... this just mostly fulfills a want... but I just don't want to miss out on a good deal.

I actually dig the size so I have no problems at all with all that.

I think it's a good price. With what you have now and your "needs" for computing genres... I'd get it. You have the Pro for more extensive needs and for use at home/stationary and the iPad is great for consuming media if you want to just throw something in your bag.

The Air will fit in nicely if you do a lot of traveling, a lot of sitting outside of your home environment. I'm out right now and I only have a blackbook; great machine but I'd kill to have an Air right now; 11 or 13 inch.

I've had really good experiences with Amazon Warehouse Deals. The things I've bought have been in perfect condition, cosmetically. And they have no hassle returns, so I'd say go for it. There's no tax, so you save there as well.

Yeah I am a big fan of them!
